The AASM Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee presents a free fireside chat “Bias & Microaggressions in Medicine” webinar featuring Dr. Carl Lambert, Rush Family Medicine Leadership Program director and moderator J. Mori Johnson, AMA ambassador. Video sketches illustrating microaggressions and bias in the workplace will be used for discussion.

Presenters
Carl Earl Lambert, MD

Carl Earl Lambert Jr., MD, is an assistant professor of family medicine at Rush University in Chicago. Dr. Lambert is director of the Rush Family Medicine Leadership Program, and Rush University’s Racial Justice Action Committee, as well as faculty advisor. He is a member of the American Association of Family Physicians, a diplomat of the American Board of Family Medicine, a member of the Christian Community Health Fellowship, an academic advisor for the National Medical Fellowship Minority Primary Care Leadership Program, and the Chicago Area Albert Schweitzer Fellowship Program.  


J Mori Johnson

J. Mori Johnson is currently the Ambassador Engagement Director & Health Equity Work Group Steering Committee member at the American Medical Association (AMA), where she has been employed for the last 24 years. Aside from her professional roles at the AMA, Mori enjoys volunteering and giving back by serving on the Black Employees & Allies Network as a Sr. Advisor, being the Finance Coordinator on the InspirAsian employee recourse group as well as being a member of the AMA Wellness Committee and founded the AMA Green Team several years ago.
