Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • List the steps in the assessment of adult sleep disorders
  • Discuss the process of conducting and reviewing the results of laboratory-based sleep testing
  • Discuss the process of conducting and reviewing the results of home sleep apnea testing
  • Describe the risk factors and treatment options for select sleep disorders: adult sleep-related breathing disorders, insomnia, sleep-related movement disorders, central disorders of hypersomnia, circadian rhythm sleep- wake disorders and parasomnias
