This webinar will assist AASM members in understanding role of the RVS Update Committee (RUC) process in physician reimbursement, specifically highlighting the survey process and practice expense inputs and how they are incorporated into the Physician Fee Schedule.

2. Determine why industry relationships are important when considering physician reimbursements.

3. Review how physicians influence the valuation of CPT codes.

4. Explain why only resources (physician work, practice expenses, medical liability costs) and not outcomes affect CPT code valuations
